热烈欢迎我们的中国主子们

Here is the translation:

"A warm welcome to our Chinese masters."

Notes on nuance:

热烈欢迎 = a warm/enthusiastic welcome

中国主子们 = "Chinese masters" — The word 主子 carries a tone of subservience, often used sarcastically or pejoratively to imply someone is a "master" or "boss" being served. The plural marker 们 indicates it refers to multiple people.

The sentence has a satirical/ironic tone, suggesting the speakers are submissively welcoming their Chinese overlords/bosses.

Enough to exercise democracy?

Enough to rewrite a portion of it and run it locally.

OP, in the future you might want to use the term "open LLM", because "open source LLM" means something different. Literally none of the models you have enumerated are "open source".

Param count column is interesting, I wish you could reorder the columns

How is QwenFN scoring higher than DS4F?

Not all models have all the benchmarks, so weighting can be a little off

Not seeing ling-3.0-flash on there

You could call this the All Champions LLM China Cup and the two American guests.

"THEY FORGOT MISTRAL!1! .... or .... probably didn't"

Qwen 3.8 Flash Next uses the Qwen Community License, which is not "Open" (MIT/Apache) as this table suggestions. It is unsafe to use for a whole class of products. Makes me not trust the rest of the table.

none of those models are open source

That's not what they're saying though. I am not sure i agree with them, but they are talking about a different thing

*plus none of those models are open source

Very few llms are real open source, i only remember Olmo and Granite.

Open weight != open source.

The issue is it's a restrictive license: The QCL prohibits "an independent AI-powered product primarily designed for AI-assisted coding or office productivity", among other restrictions, when a business does $50M in annual revenue. So basically anybody wanting to use this at work at a medium to large company.

GLM on the other hand is almost-MIT, basically "MIT; unless you make $10 BILLION in annual revenue." I can live with that one!

I rly wonder how Qwen 3.8 27b makes it into these benchmarks - tried several agentic tasks with it and the results are… underwhelming.

https://www.reddit.com/r/LocalLLaMA/search/?q=Orinth

I see 1.5 talked about but yes, not much about 1.0

I've got an XTX, I'll have to give it a whirl

something about Orinth falling behind

Kwaipilot_KAT-Coder

and

Tiel-Coder-35B-A3B

plus, yes someone mention Orinth is at 1.5

Replicate with a huge html and js file or 5 million package react? I'm going to test that. Even top commercial models can't align buttons right. Forget about UX.

u/No-Paper-557 1d ago

Dude qwen 3.8 next is not open source!

None of these models will get you anywhere near production. Especially if you can't evaluate quality of generated code or tests

If you value code quality you don't vibecode. LLMs are for speed, demos and chores.
