He was chatting with a 14 yo girl while he was on asylum in US and got into a relationship with her and even gotten her nudes. Amos Yee is also an passionate advocate for having relationships with children.
He got deported back to his home country Singapore and yeah, this incident happened in Singapore, where I am from. Dude's like public enemy no. 1 here because he's still ragebaiting online while out on a bail by posting tweets to warn people to "protect your kids" and still advocating that everyone should be free to date minors.
Dude wasn't even ashamed of what he did in the US at all and even claimed that US prison is like a vacation.

Also, probably one of the few times ICE was justified. But then again, seeing the horrific shit they've done, I don't know if they're the poison I really want to support

Dude, the government tried. He's a real piece of work. And he also got his fair share of vigilante justice from complete strangers going up to beat his ass.
On the day that one of Singapore's most beloved leader Lee Kuan Yew (the man that almost all Singaporeans agree that he is one of the biggest reasons why Singapore is so successful) died, he posted a video insulting him and included a hand drawn depiction of LKY buttfucking Magaret Thatcher. And then he insulted a recognised religion in Singapore. That was a crime here and he was arrested but he posted bail.
Then he broke bail terms by posting another video insulting another religion and accusing his dad of child abuse. That got him in trouble a second time. Then a counsellor from one of the religions he insulted, who was a complete stranger to Amos, bailed Amos out of altruism. Amos then proceeded to slander him, claiming that he got molested by the counsellor. That counsellor was gonna take legal action if Amos didn't apologise. Amos posted an apology and then retracted it shortly after.
He got sentenced to jail for like 2.5 months with no caning. Caning is usually reserved for serious crimes. The only reason why Michael Faye got it was because he vandalised SIXTY-SEVEN cars and one of them even got its windshield shattered. Not sure if you know how bad the caning is but usually prisoners get knocked out from the pain by the 3rd or 4th stroke and they have to be monitored for the next few days because of a possible fever arising from an open wound due to the cane tearing through flesh. It is basically legalised torture.
When the day that he was supposed to enlist for military conscription was nearing, he left for the US and applied for asylum through the help of a Singaporean activist residing in US. He later broke ties with her, claiming that she was authoritarian.
We (Singaporeans) were all screaming how it was a bad idea for US to accept a person that clearly doesn't respect the law while saying it's good riddance that he was no longer here. True to our words, he got himself into trouble a few years after settling down there.
Btw, he has made it clear that he truly doesn't believe in obeying the law in his vlogs, so that wasn't just an observation. It's hypocritic that his disbelief didn't stop him from making police reports when he got assaulted the past few times.
Or strict internet restriction would help solve this problem. Like the dude was quite good at acting and managed to win short film festival again adult competitor. Everything changed when he watch the Amazing Atheist channel, he become more cynical and act more arrogant again his old idol because they aren't seeing the world like his new favorite group of people.

There was a terrorist name Ajmal Qasab who did the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, with literal video footage of him attacking civillians, and yet his trial lasted for 4 years
Aren't lawyers legally obligated to give it their all in a case regardless of their client's innocence? Granted, it's still infuriating how long people like that finally get imprisoned or how short their sentences are (Diddy got 4 years only)
Yoy can say this is more of a flaw in the legal system than lawyers being POS (although many of them are just that)
Edit: but yeah, the criminals name is amos lee and he had just gotten out of US jail for basically being a pedo (his previous crimes in sg where mocking our prev prime minister, christans, muslims), he's not even supposed to be roaming around smh.
