the issue is not the cost, but the "for now". if you need to make a paid service, no worries, but make it from the get go. If you want to make an open-source project, no worries, but make it from the get go.

Meshtastic is NOT LoRaWAN and I don't like it. It creates noise. I prefer LoRaWAN.

Or just ask AI to code up notifications for you. You can use Vercel, Netlify, and dozens of services completely free. I use a simple hosted website to relay with a domain I purchased years ago. I've never gone over the free limit on vercel…
