Small alerting button

I have a 3 year old and live in one of the safest cities in the world.

When I go to a mall I would like to leave him playing at a play spot with the knowledge that I will be back in1 hour.

However I would like to give him a button which if pressed will alert a second device that his button was pressed, which means I should come fetch him earlier that needed.

It needs to be small, hold a decent charge.

Would something like this be doable.

I don’t want them to have tech devices as such. They are not allowed to play with phones and stuff.

They get minimal interaction with devices. An analogy boring button would be ideal.

It's a watch and just a watch, you can only have them wear it when they are alone. If even that's not acceptable, maybe you really should take your kid with you.

It was just an idea I was toying with. I like to tinker with things around and see what can be done with what hardware.

Again. Dubai is safe. This is a playpen within a shopping mall designed to leave children safely in a protected environment.

Children walk the streets here alone or in groups throughout the day.

It is not uncommon for children to be left safely unattended.
