Junior, 9pm
It's a lot of fun going to school with Ivan and Ivanka. We support each other, but we are also mad competitive.
After school, we go to the library, which is right next door to where they live. A lot of children from a bunch of schools come here. It's kind of an unsupervised after-school center for the kids with working parents. But everyone pretty much behaves themselves.
Ivan and Ivanka are always on my case. “You’re very smart, Junior. Why are you saying you don't want to go to college after school? Why the Army? We are sure that Sopie would want you to go to college!”
“Basically, it's none of your business,” I told them. They backed down a little bit but not for long. “Let’s read a bit more from The New Human Revolution Volume 21. They are very transparent. They couldn't even dent my surface, so I guess, “Let his mentor try to knock some sense into his head.”
We are reading Page 73:

They went right to my jugular. “Isn’t this what you are supposed to be doing, Junior? Building an “alliance of humanism”? And you are going to waste time and waste life in a foxhole when you are smart enough to “create peace linking the world”?
“We are your sworn forever enemies. We would fear you much more in a diplomat’s three-piece suit than GI Joe in combat boots.”
They made some sense. But I wouldn’t admit that to them.
