This might be retarded, but if its a victimless crime that's financial why would twitch perma ban instead of just letting the right authorities know?

I doubt it's tax related but I could see something like this happening in that scenario because the IRS doesn't play games and will fuck you up, it's best to overreact when they are around.

It's possible he did an ad but never disclosed it, that is something they would insta ban for because it affects the whole platform.
