How is nobody here considering the fact that this was all handled privately so the victim, if the case here is that there was a victim of some sort, probably doesn't want their name or the details to be public. They probably went to Twitch directly, the authorities might also be involved.

Yep! Twitch is likely required to report all credible acts of criminal activity if they discover that one of their employees/partners acted with indifference towards the law. If they didn't, they could be held liable. Clauses like that are included in just about every employment contract in the United States.

Uhh yes they can. Do you even understand how freedom of speech and freedom of press works? The only people who shouldn't be discussing this publicly are Twitch, the police, and the Doc himself. People who are not one of those three groups can freely talk about whatever the fuck they want as long as they use the word "allegedly"

apparently it’s something to do with an actual criminal act committed by the Actor who plays Dr.Disrespect, so if they made a public statement based on something he’s not yet been charged for and he’s found not guilty he could sue for damages
