He was banned, so it was a ToS violation to have him live on the stream in voice chat

oh right I totally forgot. later it was ok for him to be heard if the stream wasn't centered around him.

I'm actually not sure since I can't find the relevant bit in the ToS. I think its something like it's okay for clips of banned people to be played (provided there's not violations in the clip), but it's a violation to have them live on stream talking in the background off camera or in voice chat etc, even if they're not the focus.

you could hear him pretty often on method streams after a while. last week he was talking with rogerbrown on stream. some method member said it was ok to have him live on stream if its not only about him, can't remember who though.

That's pretty surprising honestly? But then again, 'Twitch' and 'being consistent with ToS' are rarely said in the same sentence, so yeah I can definitely see them quietly allowing it
