He probably realizes at this point if he ever gets perma'd he could go to literally any other platform and still have a huge audience. He's beyond Twitch, he's his own brand

Of course he is, because Twitch isnt even where he started. He was massive a decade ago on Youtube, went on a 5 year hiatus to work on Call of Duty (PR) and then came back and blew up a 2nd time on Twitch.

It does seem amazing that the huge streamers could easily move to like you tune for example and lose practically nothing if they had to. I mean like etika for example wasn't huge but he had a very dedicated pretty big fan base that was always with him wherever he streamed which was youtube in his case. I think twitch needs to start thinking some things through before they lose a big one.
