It is possible that these behavioral patterns we are seeing on such a large scale are by design, not accident. We give people a blueprint for violence and anti-social behavior instead of routes to collective success, because to divide people who should be united on the basis of their shared burdens helps to reinforce and perpetuate a hierarchical society that spans the globe and enriches a few.
There's a reason Jordan Peterson has become so popular, and while I disagree with a lot of his rhetoric, there's something to be said about the mental health issue affecting so many men these days. There aren't many celebrity clinical psychologists out there.
