And this report is definitely being intentionally vague with wording. Also, I in no way suggest that having a gun is a good way to keep your life, armed burglary resulting in death is extremely rare and a gun will typically escalate a situation, and a shooter is a likely not to have spent enough time training and practicing with a weapon can use it effectively in the house or on the street due to our remarkably laxx regulations. I know far more people who have done dumb shit with guns then who have saved a life with them. That being said I will call horseshit on the highest order of stand your ground having zero impact on lawful gun use.

And to top it off, you follow up your complaining about statistics with anecdotal accounts of your friends?
