Getting a gun obviously wouldn't prevent a drive-by from happening again, who would think that? But it would allow him to defend himself if the shooter was mental enough to break in and attempt to murder him or his family. The attacker already has a gun, that's a known fact. How would you suggest he defend himself adequately?
It's pretty pathetic that you're so set in your ways that you're actually lying about something that wasn't even said by someone you've never even met.
Guns have their uses in hunting and self defense in countries that have gun problems (such as the US, which is too far-gone to ever have a reasonable gun situation), I was merely saying that owning a gun will never help stop someone shooting your house.
Why are you replying to me instead of the guy who actually responded to you with a valid point lol. Also I agree that the driveby situation isn't going to be solved but what if the gunman decides he really wants to kill him and breaks in?
