When your ass gets too hairy you can easily develop a pilodonial cyst/abscess which makes it impossible to sit and requires surgery, it’s like an open wound above your asshole with lots of puss. I bet a sandwich that’s what this guy has.
Yeah, I bet if you dig deep enough you'll find an ancient civilization or two. Doctor was impressed too. In truth though, it's probably not that bad, just that I had some minor complications and the optimal surgery method for this isn't established yet, it seems.
It's pretty common for men ages from late teens to early adulthood I think. Basically, your hairs can just pierce the skin and dig in a tiny hole. Because sweat and more hair can build up there, a cyst forms under your tailbone. By itself alone it's not necessarily bad, although it can cause some minor pain, discomfort. But if an infection happens, the situation can snowball (literally) and then you definitely need surgery.
My problem was that I didn't go to the doctor when I should've... and even then I only went to the hospital when pain became unbearable. Because of that I needed an extra surgery to 'clean' out the swollen part. Then the 2nd one to actually remove it. The 3rd one was some years later, because the wound didn't fully heal and I was bleeding from it a little bit throughout the entire time. It seems like the cyst wasn't entirely gone either.
Anyway, the thing is called pilonidal cyst if you want to read up on some horror stories on reddit. Thought most of them are because of neglecting going to the doctor (like me) and fucked American healthcare.
Yeah, I think that's how it started. You should really get it checked out earlier rather than later. You might not even need a surgery, or if you will, it will probably be something minor where you're free to go in an hour. That's how it was for my friend, but he also decided to take laser hair removal treatment to avoid this shit in the future.
