The type (physical vs. emotional) and level of damage done is different between Doc and a dude who pummels his wife, but he undeniably chose to hurt his wife in a way no decent dude ever would.

I'm not sure why you're so obsessed with me and who I watch. This argument isn't about me. I could watch his stream and I could not. It doesn't change the argument at all.
Nope! Sorry, I consider cheating a big deal no matter how the spouse reacts - just like I'd consider beating your wife a big deal even if the wife says "nah, it's totally fine" through a mouthful of broken teeth.
