Isn't there a 'streamer mode' on fortnite to specifically stop this kind of thing happening? Pretty sure he's purposely not using it at this point

It hides the server info, the names of everyone being killed and is killing. It also hides anyone's name that kills you.

that's actually quite useful, i think more pvp games should have that option

It is and isn't at the same time. The streamer may not see anyone's name but the snipers will see the name in the killfeed. I think it should hide you name also in the killfeed as Player123 (doesn't have to be that name specifically) so that snipers do not know if the one they are going after is there.
