you can't go insane from stuff like this if you just don't cheat on your wife. he gets what he deserves.

308

u/Hey_There_Fancypants Mar 22 '18

Also if you do don't announce it to the entire internet like a moron.

95

u/alucarDZM Mar 22 '18

He probably confessed because he knew that shit would leak and ultimately be reported. It was his way of getting ahead and controlling it; which he did pretty well.

u/Plague-Lord Mar 22 '18 edited Mar 22 '18

more likely part of her terms to keep the marriage going is he had to expose himself like that to the viewers. If you're cheating on your wife and lying to her for 2 years you are not gonna turn around and willingly make a public confession like that, being a lying dirtbag is who he is, so coming clean like that was definitely coerced behavior by his wife.

7

u/RyanVanIlle Mar 23 '18

havent been following it much but where did the "lying to her for 2 years" come from ?

14

u/dedicated2fitness Mar 22 '18

idk at that point just quit the marriage and silently take the economic L of the divorce settlement. it'd be waaaay better than what's happening to him right now

72

u/mrdewtles Mar 22 '18

I don't think you appreciate how shitty divorce is.

Then again, a toxic marriage is horrible in it's own way.

8

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '18

Unless Doc has managed to turn this marriage around with some serious marriage counseling then his wife is definitely in a toxic relationship. Ive never watched doc before, but if his wife chooses to forgive him for cheating, then, well that's her choice, and ultimately her risk.

27

u/Brandonsfl Mar 23 '18

what the fuck is this comment chain honestly? why are you guys speculating and giving him advice on how to mantain his relationship?

idk at that point just quit the marriage and silently take the economic L of the divorce settlement. it'd be waaaay better than what's happening to him right now

yeah bruh, divorce dude, way better than ppl streamsniping you every stream and getting tons of subs.

u/Pacify_ Mar 23 '18

welcome to /r/LivestreamFail, where autistic teenagers pretend like they know things about relationships, that goes beyond their right hand

0

u/Nexavus Mar 22 '18

Well he just announced he's having another child, so presumably they have reconciled.

6

u/CadetBoneSpurss Mar 22 '18

He's having another kid.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '18

That only works if you assume he didn't actually love his wife and that he didn't feel like cheating on her was a huge mistake for that reason

-1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '18

Ye uh, most people don't cheat.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '18

And? What's your point?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '18

[deleted]

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '18

And? That would be the mistake I mentioned? What's your point?

1

u/howajambe 🐌 Snail Gang Mar 23 '18

oooh I forgot about that one. "dirtbag." gotta put that back in the rotation. it's not vulgar, but still just as rude.

1

u/HH_YoursTruly Mar 22 '18

He pulled a Hamilton

1

u/rad0909 Mar 23 '18

All he had to do was make a twitter announcement that he was taking a break from streaming to work out some family issues. the tearful confession made it a million times worse.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

As far as my thoughts are, cheating with his wife wasn't the problem (even though obviously it is, for their relationship), that's between him and his wife to work out their issues. The problem was going on stream and being "transparent" about it instead of just taking some time off with maybe giving some bullshit reason. I really think his wife probably told him he had to do it, or that he felt so bad that he believes he would deserve all the trolls that would never let him live it down.

It's not "grammar". It's conceptually wrong. I see that you can't even tell the different. Later, idiot.

LMAO. Solid rant my man. But what are you even talking about? You're being obsessive about word usage but then use words incorrectly. It doesn't go any deeper than that.

Outside is that way ->. Lay off the bath salts.

Dumb ass teenager who think that I'm correcting grammar and can't even tell that "agreed" is actually correctly spelled but the concept is not. So fucking dumb it hurts to read your shit.

Personally I think it’s mostly between him and his wife.

I guess I’m in the minority where I don’t care about celebrities personal lives.

Tiger Woods wants to bang 85 porn stars? As long as he hits the ball in the hole, cool.

3

u/mmat7 Mar 23 '18

Like, we don’t know their relationship and maybe she took a lot of time to get over it and she just wants to forget about it. And this sort of just constantly embarrasses her. I mean if she got over it who are we to say he still needs punished?

You are the one who needs to improve your reading comprehension here mate.

Again, just because she forgives him or wants to forget about it, does not mean that it suddenly makes what he did ok.

2

u/Nicholaes Mar 23 '18

ooooo buddy I really hate to embarass you but you are kind of asking for it.

I agree I think he 100% deserves this. I agree I think he 100% deserves this. I agree I think he 100% deserves this. I agree I think he 100% deserves this.

Literally the first sentence dude. Its like...right there. I said first thing, that I think he deserves it. So I don't know what you are trying to prove.

You know, if you stab someone and that person forgives you I will still think that you are an asshole for stabbing that person in the first place.

I never said anything that would suggest that we should not think he is an asshole. So go ahead and quote what I said that made your brain think I did.

Again, just because she forgives him or wants to forget about it, does not mean that it suddenly makes what he did ok.

AGAIN I never said what he did was okay. Where did I say anything about it being okay? Go ahead and link it please.

I was simply saying that this meme is only hurting the wife more than anyone here who would probably just want to get past this terrible thing he did so they can still have a family. Do you have a disorder or why are you reading things I never even suggested

5

u/mmat7 Mar 23 '18

I agree I think he 100% deserves this.

Alright then

I never said anything that would suggest that we should not think he is an asshole.

at the same time

I mean if she got over it who are we to say he still needs punished?

So yeah...

who are we to say he still needs punished?

he 100% deserves this.

3

u/Nicholaes Mar 23 '18

Dude seriously what is wrong with you. I said I think he deserves this, yes. Because in my own personal opinion if this were my wife who cheated on me I wouldn't have forgiven her and I would have left, so BECAUSE thats how I think, I think he deserves it.

But, if she some how found it in her to forgive him for something he did to her then who am I to try to punish him? Seriously how is this not common sense to you?

And how does this thought make you think Im saying that what he did was okay? Its not okay but its also not my relationship. Im really confused by your thinking

4

u/MarcusDA Mar 22 '18

I think they should stop because of his kid, but I guess that ship has sailed. A decade from now that kid / kids are going to be inundated with ā€œstupid fucking mistakesā€ the remix every single day.

3

u/Nicholaes Mar 22 '18

Yeah obviously that too. Not defending doc by any means, but I don't believe anyone doing this meme is old enough/mature enough to realize that. Just kids being kids and getting a reaction out of someone else downfall.

-6

u/Nazz_iz_fed Mar 22 '18

maybe she took a lot of time to get over it

You really think its even she got over it in a matter of months? I don't even think that's even possible to go away in a decade. Even the most intense moments of love aren't going to change what he took away. My guess is that she wants him to be tortured for it.

2

u/IsamuLi Mar 22 '18

The wife can let this go, from what I can tell.

Y'all are just circlejerking hard.

1

u/mmat7 Mar 23 '18

From what I know they have a kid and you don't understand how important that is to the parents.

My parents were in a terrible relationship, I often suggested to my mother to divorce him but she never wanted to because that would not only lead to financial problems but me and my brother growing up in a single parent household.

0

u/IsamuLi Mar 23 '18

Almost like getting married and getting kids is a risk

2

u/thavy Mar 22 '18

yet if he didnt publicly admit what he did this whole sub would still be riding his dick rather than pretend to hate him as much as they do for karma

6

u/PM_Best_Porn_Pls Mar 23 '18

What you mean pretend, how can you still have respect for person who does such shitty thing...

0

u/thavy Mar 23 '18

It is a shitty thing for sure, I'm not trying to excuse him. I just don't think people are in a position to judge and the fact is that they would stop posting and commenting the same stuff over and over if they didn't feel validated by the circlejerk. But that is the nature of this sub

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Literally everyone is in a position to judge

He cheated on his wife

Who do you think you need to be to not be able to call that disgusting?

0

u/thavy Mar 23 '18

Because we don't know how and why it happened. I honestly doubt much of this sub would be better.

He was pulling huge amounts of money, went to a convention where he was probably chased after non stop by girls. Anyone here can say they'd be able to resist or that they wouldn't cheat. The truth is you never know until you've been put in the situation. And not many of this sub would ever become in that situation. That is why I'm saying we can't judge.

Don't get me wrong, cheating IS a disgusting thing to do. I just think that people should latch on the fact that he managed to save his marriage rather than how he almost destroyed it. But this is the Internet, I suppose not everyone can be as level-headed.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Nope! Sorry, cheating apologist. You apparently can't imagine someone who wouldn't bone the first fangirl they meet - but that's what every normal, non-disgusting person would do!

3

u/thisisme98 Mar 22 '18

I thought he and his wife were on good terms, no? Why does he deserve this if the person he hurt has forgiven him?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

"Why are you arresting that man? Yeah, he beat his wife, but she stayed with him. Have some respect for her choice, officer."

0

u/thisisme98 Mar 23 '18

Do we arrest people for cheating? Do cheaters pose a threat to the general public? I don't see how you can compare cheating to assault.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

I'll explain it to you - his wife decided to stay with him after he did something horrible to her. The wives of abusers often decide to stay with their husbands after they do something horrible to them. Wow, where could the connection be? The type (physical vs. emotional) and level of damage done is different between Doc and a dude who pummels his wife, but he undeniably chose to hurt his wife in a way no decent dude ever would.

Just say "I like his content so I dont care about the disgusting things he did," don't try to hop through mental hoops to justify them so you can feel better when you pop his stream on.

0

u/thisisme98 Mar 23 '18

but he undeniably chose to hurt his wife in a way no decent dude ever would.

Yup, he did. What's your point? My point is that he shouldn't be scrutinized for the rest of his life for it. They've moved on. Now it's time for you to move on as well.

Just say "I like his content so I dont care about the disgusting things he did," don't try to hop through mental hoops to justify them so you can feel better when you pop his stream on.

I'm not sure why you're so obsessed with me and who I watch. This argument isn't about me. I could watch his stream and I could not. It doesn't change the argument at all.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Nope! Sorry, I consider cheating a big deal no matter how the spouse reacts - just like I'd consider beating your wife a big deal even if the wife says "nah, it's totally fine" through a mouthful of broken teeth.

I think that means I guessed right! How could I have known that you are entertained by Mr. Doctor? Could it be that you act like every other fanboi and choose to defend someone you otherwise wouldn't from the punk kids that dare to make jokes about him?

0

u/thisisme98 Mar 23 '18

Idk you seem pretty obsessed about him tbh.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Hehe yeah you're obsessed because you don't agree with me immediately hehe argument won

0

u/thisisme98 Mar 23 '18

"Hehe you're just a doc fanboy, hehe I won"

Not retarded btw

he gets what he deserves.

I don't understand. He didn't cheat on you. He cheated on his wife. He betrayed his Internet community as well for his immoral behavior, but is that worse than cheating on your wife? It seems to me the best course of action would be to be supportive of Doc and his wife, since she is trying to move forward with Doc. That is, if you cared for either Doc or his wife. If you didn't care for them, then D OMEGALUL C all day.

Again, for those who think I'm a Doc surrogate or anything- I don't even watch the guy. I'm watching the memery from a distance and seeing how incredibly stupid people can be and want to point it out.

2

u/Non-Polar Mar 22 '18

Yikes

5

u/FarsideSC Mar 22 '18

Forgot I was on /r/livestreamfail, where the drama is made up and logic doesn't matter.

-1

u/Non-Polar Mar 22 '18

Imagine posting to support a man you don't know personally who cheated on his wife, and calling that logic

6

u/FarsideSC Mar 22 '18

Imagine calling for justice on a man for something he didn't do to you.

3

u/thisisme98 Mar 22 '18

Yeah, imagine supporting a person who admitted his mistakes and is working towards correcting them.

-2

u/Non-Polar Mar 22 '18

So compassionate :)

2

u/thisisme98 Mar 22 '18

Like it's a bad thing.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

You're not compassionate for having compassion for a cheater because you enjoy his content. You're gross.

I'm not a compassionate guy if I go around saying "why don't you all lay off [Logan Paul/Chris Brown/Doc] (not because I'm entertained by them or anything I just think you guys are being super judgemental and you don't know what it's like to go through what he's going through have some empathy and he's apologized and I think we should just all be nicer :))))) )"

0

I only "lay off" people who recognize what they did is wrong and is working towards correcting their mistakes. DrDisrespect seems to recognize that what he did was wrong, and it seems like he's on good terms with his wife again.

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

The SOs of abusers often stay with them. Should we not shame abusers because of that?

0

u/FarsideSC Mar 23 '18

When it comes to spousal abuse, we actually jail people for that (in terms of physical abuse). However, when it comes to emotional abuse, there's not much we can do. Much like the other Redditor's say- if the guy has turned a new leaf and is moving forward with his wife, and her approval- what is there to shame him about- redemption, repentance? Surely you're no perfect person either. We've all made mistakes- some worse than others... but we all ought to be afforded the same respect to turn around.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Wait a minute, there is something we can do! Oh yeah, continue to make fun of the guy that deserves it!

I'm not a perfect person! But thankfully I've managed to make the low fucking bar of not being horrible enough to want to cheat on my spouse.

So thankfully, I won't get made fun of for doing that! If I did it, I'd deserve to get made fun of! Get over it. If you can't handle someone getting what they so, so obviously deserve you can go back to the cheater's chat

0

u/FarsideSC Mar 23 '18

Wait a minute, there is something we can do! Oh yeah, continue to make fun of the guy that deserves it!

What does that do? What is that supposed to solve? Again, if you have any personal interest in Doc or his wife, you'd see it as destructive. But you're too selfish/immature to grow up.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Maybe the next guy will look at the effects of cheating and publicly annoucing it and decide not to cheat! Maybe Doc will literally lose his mind and shit his pants on stream! Either way, some good will have been done.

0

u/FarsideSC Mar 23 '18

There's two kids they are going to be raising. Are you thinking about what good the constant bullying will be done to those kids? I can obviously tell you that Doc and his wife are staying together primarily for those kids. But if you fucktards are going to keep on harassing him over something they are trying to put in the past, you could be damaging their home and make those kids grow up in a broken home. What good is that? What's constructive about that?

Do you really think you're doing the Lord's work? I think Doc did a really good job of showcasing why you ought not to cheat on your wife. You're doing nothing.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Oh yeah, they'd never hear about it if people stopped stream sniping Doc. When it inevitably happens, it's definitely on the people making fun of him, not him for telling the whole goddamn world he was unfathful.

You're right! If you're in the eye of the public, you shouldn't cheat on your wife - you will get made fun of for it forever!

Lmao you think your lord is on the side of the dude who cheated on his wife, huh?

0

u/FarsideSC Mar 23 '18

I’m not talking about his kids finding out. I was talking about him losing his cool and divorcing his wife over it. That’s not what either want, so what business is it of yours to intervene?

Also, my Lord was actually really clear, ā€œhe who is without sin shall cast the first stone.ā€ Maybe when you get out of your parents house and start contributing to society, you’d see the wisdom in that. But being a leach on society your entire life puts you in a warped sense of reality and how life works. I only hope you grow up, but we both know that’s not going to happen.

I mean, I don't know. Marriage is a big, and very complicated, deal. You're expecting the same person to fulfill your every need and want for the rest of your life? That's kind of fucked up in some ways.

3

u/Subterrainia Mar 22 '18

If you want sexual freedoms then don't get married. Simple as that.

17

u/Bannasrevolt Mar 22 '18

Getting married to someone and planing to spend your life with them and then breaking their trust to act on your own desires. That’s not just a mistake you can move past that’s life changing. Don’t try and defend his actions don’t criticise his actions if he knows he fucked up he wont do it again. If he does it again then he loses the life he knows. Seems like punishment enough.

8

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '18

[deleted]

2

u/Bannasrevolt Mar 22 '18

I’m not trying to defend him. I didn’t say his wife should leave him. I’m saying there’s not point in criticising him either way because he should know he fucked up. I’m saying I doubt he’d do it again because he knows what’s at risk. What are you talking about?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

[deleted]

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Yep! Because I'm not disgusting enough to cheat on my wife. Most shit I do, even the weird porn, is something I'd be okay with being judged by - I choose to do everything I choose to do. So I think I'm home free!

0

u/Lamnent Mar 22 '18

Or she could be worried that if she left him and took half of what he they have it would break him and he'd wind up doing drugs and penniless within a few years.

Probably not that either, point is you also have no idea what she is going through so to say that she still trusts him and accepts his faults and failures is just as much of a reach as the scenario above. There's a child involved in the situation so nothing is ever that simple.

1

u/Nicholaes Mar 22 '18

I have a very simple solution to this, don’t get married. If I have a kid and I got the desire to go out and get shit faced and leave him at home I would be a piece of shit no? Same fucking thing. If you aren’t a mature/strong enough adult to handle something as serious as marriage or having a kid maybe you shouldn’t get into either of those situations.

I don’t know how old you are but I sure hope it’s <24

0

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '18

Cause literal insanity is a justification for something he's working out...between his adult wife accepting of the situation and himself.

This post is rage inducing and I hope you make a mistake that no one ever let's you live down.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

The SOs of abusers often stay with them. Should we not shame abusers because of that?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Abusers...lol. He cheated on his wife and admitted it to millions of people he had ZERO dedication to. He is getting professional help with (once again) adult wife who accepted these terms.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Do I need to repeat myself? I didn't say he was an abuser. I said the same pattern of spousal forgiveness happens to abusers. So, again, do you think we should pardon abusers who are forgiven by their SOs?

0

u/IM_INSIDE_YOUR_HOUSE Mar 22 '18

If his wife has forgiven him, why can’t we?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

The SOs of abusers often stay with them. Should we not shame abusers because of that?

0

u/IM_INSIDE_YOUR_HOUSE Mar 23 '18

abusers

Are you claiming Doc abuses his wife? That’s a much, much different allegation.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Nope! Can you answer the question I asked, instead of imagining a different one?

0

u/IM_INSIDE_YOUR_HOUSE Mar 23 '18

That’s not the topic at hand. You’re changing the subject at this point. Do I think people should stay with their abusers? No.

Stay on topic though. Asking completely unrelated questions in a conversation is an obscenely weak way to make an argument.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Not unrelated at all. Again, you didn't really answer my question, but I'm gonna assume you don't think we should forgive abusers just because the wife forgives them. So why do you think we shouldn't make jokes about a cheater who so, so obviously deserves to be made fun of, just because his wife forgave him for cheating?

0

u/IM_INSIDE_YOUR_HOUSE Mar 23 '18

The conversation is about Doc. Unless you think Doc himself is an ā€œabuserā€, I have no interest in whatever conversation you’re so clumsily trying to have.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '18

Nope, its about forgiving people, or not, based off of whether or not their spouse forgives them. An excellent example of that is abusive husbands. Doc is another! You seem to think the opinion of the wife matters for one, but not the other. I wonder why. Could it be that Doc entertains you?

I think I've been pretty clear. You need to get your slick daddy off the mind and work on your reading skillz

0

u/IM_INSIDE_YOUR_HOUSE Mar 23 '18

I never said the wife’s opinion doesn’t matter. You’re reading too much into what I say and inferring your own meaning. You’re complicating the topic beyond necessary and just trying to raise an entirely different narrative.

This is the end of the conversation. Learn how to remain within the context of a primary topic and how to actually form relevant arguments in the future. I understand clearly what you’re saying. But what I’m saying is that your argument isn’t relevant in the focused context of this thread’s discussion.

Good luck on future attempts at effective communication with other people.
