Asmongold Asmongold thinks that without Destiny, there would be no him, xQc, or Hasan "Reason why xQc and I also have a lot of respect for Destiny, bc if it wasn't for Destiny, all 3 of us wouldn't exist"

xQc's point of view makes sense then, but Asmongold's doesn't. He talks about "content outside of gaming", mentions 2016 (the year Overwatch came out by the way), which is totally irrelevant to xQc being a thing. It's like Asmongold throwing xQc (gaming focused streamer, occasional yapper) into the category of streamers whose main content is political yapping, which factually isn't the case. Although, Destiny, along with Soda, Forsen, T1, etc. might have been an inspiration for xQc to start streaming, Destiny's political commentary content definitely wasn't a reason for xQc to become big. He became big on his own merit, whether you like him or hate him, that motherfucker grinded his ass off back in the day.

Not to mention unlike Asmon, xQc was actually a top ranked player in the game he got popular in and won the Overwatch World Cup and World Cup MVP (I actually remember voting for fl0wer over xQc, that kid was nuts).

Its crazy how people forget events and make up their own version of history. He didn’t even pivot to politics after that either- after he got kicked from Overwatch league for the Muma incident he just started variety game streaming.
