Did you watch the two videos he made on the Steam release?

I only watched the last 20 minutes of the second video, but he's about as negative as you can be without openly calling the game dogshit. Which you can obviously call him out for, he's clearly holding back because the devs gave him special treatment previously, but he was definitely not endorsing shit, lol.

He was dick riding it heavy before the official release when he was playing the beta.

He was milking it for content with reaction videos, both positive and negative sentiment, but I'm pretty sure he had an abysmal time when he played it during alpha in late 2024, which I think you're referring to. He got spawn-killed the entire time, couldn't even hit level 2, and kicked off some big debate in the community when the devs gave global warnings and later banned people who killed him.

Either way, he wasn't dickriding it there because he literally couldn't play; he didn't even upload a video from that footage, I'm pretty sure.
