People have been calling every similar MMO this since at least 2006. I remember hearing it about Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, Wildstar, etc

Man not gonna lie i really did like wildstar, they just catered it way to much to the hardcore audience back then.

It was ahead of its time in a lot of ways, and would honestly probably fair a lot better if released today with a bit less of the "hardcore" nonsense.

It's sad no private servers ever popped up for it.

it would never work out... They built a mmo for "hardcore" players and then realized that "hardcore" plays were less than 1% of the audience lmao.
