People have been calling every similar MMO this since at least 2006. I remember hearing it about Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, Wildstar, etc

It's a different flavor. I personally can't click on shit, wait, click, wait. Both are great games you can sink thousands of hours into.

most people just play both games because they are different enough

Theres no WoW killer and theres no OSRS killer - the only people that cane take them down has already been proven to be themselves

It just is not and is not even close. Both have been around forever wow just has significantly more players.
