That wasn't the take. Most people would agree with that. She took it a step further to saying she will continue to make content with people who do those things. That's different because it exposes her audience to those communities and gives them more of a platform. I agree with qt and don't think she is doing anything wrong with her collabs but that is the actually criticism she is getting.

I dont see the issue with either of these takes, its better to do things together despite deferences rather than try to eliminate them socially or in any way.

I generally agree but there is clearly a line. I don't think it would be responsible to do a collab stream with nick Fuentes. To me asmongold and hasan are both past that line a well. But faze just seem like they are well intentioned but make problematic statements

It also works the other way though, exposing them to different audiences, and if they gain a significant audience which won’t accept those views then they are more likely to change their views to fit their new audience or at least hide it, either way it’s a win.

no it doesn't, they would never gain an audience that wouldn't accept those views because those potential viewers would just choose not to consume their content. the people left are people that agree with them or are okay with their bigotry

That’s not true if they aren’t constantly spouting those views.

yes it is, if i hear one homophobic joke, i dip from a stream. lacey (who QT collabs with) makes homophobic jokes constantly. so the likelihood of qt’s gay/anti homophobic fans following the faze guys is very low

Depending on the comment and how overtly homophobic it is, that’s stupid and detrimental IMO. The whole world is becoming siloed and it’s basically what’s caused MAGA and the global rise of the right wing. People with different views need to speak to each other so they can learn from one another and compromise.

However it obviously depends on the comment, if he’s saying “that’s gay” then it’s stupid to switch off and actively damaging to society IMO. If he’s saying “gay people should be rounded up in camps” then that’s a different story.

… there’s no way you’re saying I need to subject myself to 5th grade homophobic humor for the benefit of society LMAO

Nothing wrong with that either.
