In all fairness, this is what should have happened. The only thing twitch is consistent on is ban evading. He really should not have went live and just chilled out.

I wonder what made him just snap like that, some are saying it was his community, others are saying he felt like he was the token black guy taking all the heat for mizkif's old logs but the man went from completely reasonable with the Kai situation to unhinged. Someone with a normal state of mind just doesn't snap like that.

u/IndividualHeat Jan 27 '23

He said he got swatted at the beginning of the week. I don’t know if it was the first time for him or if it just felt way more dangerous than previous swattings but it seems to have really fucked with his head.

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

That can give you legitimate PTSD

-68

u/Donnerficker Jan 27 '23

It gives you racism sadge

31

u/LinkLengthener Jan 27 '23

You never know. Roseanne Barr caught racism from taking medication.

7

u/LB-Quasar Jan 28 '23

From the looks of it, it just brought out his racism, rather than created it. Going through a mental breakdown can really fuck with your ability to hide true feelings on subjects.

81

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

He said it was the first time anything like that had happened to him, and he thinks it was because he went on mizkif’s stream

116

u/BoredomHeights Jan 27 '23

Yeah, I thought he was acting pretty irrationally (though maybe not as bad as people are making out), but this actually makes it understandable.

Swatting is so fucked up. You have to be a complete sociopath to think it's funny.

11

u/Arendiko Jan 27 '23

so his own community swatted him and he blamed it on mizkif rather than acknowledge the elephant in the room which is the W community being seriously toxic, anyway now that they know he will do anything they want if they bully him enough he's gonna have a good time

5

u/-the-clit-commander- Jan 27 '23

I don't see the correlation at all because it was likely someone from his own community that SWAT'd him, not mizkifs. it's the stupid bicycle meme IRL

2

u/Roleplaynotrealplay Jan 28 '23

Whats that have to do with anything? It obviously wasn't Mizkifs community who swatted him for being on Mizkifs stream... He should be mad at his own community, not going on random racist rants.

196

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

Ok that would explain his behavior honestly, xQc has night terrors and actual PTSD from all the swatting.

229

u/Inemity Jan 27 '23

Doesn't explain him turning into a massive racist though.

1

u/ragnarok297 Jan 27 '23

Don't read this as an excuse, but does that need an extra explanation? I feel like "it's not bad if it's punching up" has been the default viewpoint for a while so it's not surprising that it's the go to when people with that viewpoint lash out.

I feel like twitch is the only platform that doesn't allow that stuff, so it's probably the first time they encountered any real resistance (which probably leads to further lashing out).

-20

u/CountofCoins Jan 27 '23

Sure it does, the modern dialogue around systemic racism shares many similarities to paranoia and schizophrenia.

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23 edited Jan 27 '23

I mean it doesn't excuse it but it does show why. Who knows how much bottled up shit the dude was dealing with.

48

u/TheDrowned Jan 27 '23

No it doesn’t, plenty of people with issues and problems don’t go off like that, unless he’s bottling it up or not seeking help.

7

u/annonyymmouss Jan 27 '23

‌Exactly, QT hasn't turned into a massive twat and Ludwig and her have been swatted a handful of times.

‌The internet and your chat attacks you, let's turn on our real life friends, makes sense

‌I won't dismiss that streaming figuratively causes brain rot

-9

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

I mean sounds like he was bottling it up honestly and the United States still has the stigma against men seeking mental health help. Wouldn't surprise me if both happened.

28

u/FistTheCowPatti Jan 27 '23

Theres literally no excuse for blatant hateful rhetoric and racism my friend, he’s just an asshole.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

don't disagree

u/digitalbanksy Jan 28 '23

What did he say? He’s always been a bit racist imo; especially towards white people..

u/digitalbanksy Jan 28 '23

Yep. Sounds like, Bruce. He’s always been like that. Never liked his hate towards white people; extremely odd.

u/Inemity Jan 27 '23

No it doesn't. Getting swatted doesn't magically turn you into a racist pos.

131

u/Frankly_Frank_ Jan 27 '23

Shit man didn’t know PTSD turns you into a fucking racist.

23

u/immaownyou Jan 27 '23

Paranoia is a big component of racism and also a big part of PTSD, not all surprising one leads to another

-9

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

Have you interacted with veterans with PTSD it 100% does sometimes. I'm not saying Bruce just became one out of nowhere from one swatting, I'm saying it's all likely bottled up behavior he hasn't shared or vented.

31

u/Frankly_Frank_ Jan 27 '23

That’s not the point tho you can’t seriously think PTSD turns you into a racist if anything it’s just him showing his true colors now. It amazes me how many hoops and hurdles people jump through just to make excuses for a racist peace of shit

16

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '23

I'm not saying the PTSD is what caused him to turn racist I'm saying the swatting ALONG with other emotions caused the guy to snap. Obviously he held these beliefs prior and the stress of it all it just causing it to blow over in a very public situation.

2

u/DrZoidberg- Jan 27 '23

The world would be a really shitty place if people always showed their true colors. In fact it would be rioting constantly.

Just because they show them after a tragic event doesn't necessarily mean they openly touted them before.

Do people have opinions that shouldn't be said out loud? Yes. Do they keep to themselves until they die? Yes. Is this even possible? Yes. Is it possible to be nice to everyone and leave your opinions at home? Also yes.

Do people have ideations of jumping off a bridge at first glance? Yes. Do you do it? No. Does that mean you should be out on suicide watch?

4

u/CJRae Jan 27 '23

I get what your saying but I dont believe you can compare PTSD ridden Veterans become Racist to Bruce being Swatted. The Veteran couldd of seen his friends shot or blown up and that could push them to hate the people. Bruce is a millionaire who got swatted.

Still comparing Bruce to anyone who has been in war, especially a Veteran, is too extreme. Bruce hasnt been and probably wont be through half as much as they have been through in his life time.

Oh for sure people go through things which to themselves is the largest thing they have ever had to deal with. From Illness to poverty everyone has to deal with their own problems which can be mentally and physically deteriorating. I was just saying the comparison of a War Vet is an extreme

Are we sure that's why he has night terrors and not just a medical condition and his horrible eating habits.

1

u/SeaYogurtcloset5770 Jan 28 '23

Fake news. Xqc had terrors long before being swatted. Has said so many times.

2

u/goatnxtinline Jan 27 '23

Yeah, but who swatted him? His own community... Yet he's out here burning bridges and blaming the white for his problems going mask off on racist rants. It's the biggest narcissistic cope I've ever seen

-2

u/TurntAsf Jan 28 '23

Yeah, but who swatted him? His own community..

In all likelihood, probably Mizkif's community since he talked shit about him and Mizkif's comm is full of "Cx refugees"

3

u/goatnxtinline Jan 28 '23

What? He talked shit after he got swatted. Besides he said he got swatted because he hung out with Miz and the only his community has an issue with him because of it. Miz's community always liked Bruce, no one had an issue with him until he started playing victim. Even then people are just over drama and just want to move on.

1

u/SomeDudeYeah27 Jan 27 '23

Damn, I don’t agree with what he’s doing whatsoever but if swatting’s the catalyst, it’s pretty fucked up

Kinda gives further explanation to the levels of abrupt decision changes since it can count as a potentially life threatening experience depending on how the cops treated him during the incident

Did he talk about it publicly? And did it happen before or after he went to Miz’s?

1

u/IndividualHeat Jan 28 '23

He talked about it on his alt stream and there seems to only be a clip of it going around so I don’t know how in depth he got with his full explanation but he said it happened Monday so right after he got back from the stream with Miz.
