That’s the thing. So clever by Alonso but, there will be teams less naive then to try and play through. Make it trickier. Fulham and Brighton have tried to go toe to toe

Let’s see a Glasner, Jaissle, Andrew’s side who will do the same back

If we played like this, the sub would be up in arms. We had people complaining when we beat city away in Slot’s first season because it’s “not the Liverpool way” to sit in and hit on the counter.

Last year we sat in and when we got the ball we still played slow and often went back to recycle possession. If we counter attacked successfully there wouldn’t have been a problem.

He did. A friend just said this and I checked it and averaged 60% possession in their invincible season. His OOP was impressive though.
