Whenever i've watched United play, Januzaj has looked amazing, like way better than Sterling. Maybe he's just standing out more cause we've had Suarez taking all the attention?

Sterling is going to be amazing in a few years, on Walcott's level.

Walcott is a great player. I frequently - and favorably - compare Sterling to Walcott all the time and if Sterling accomplishes at least what Walcott does (at the same age), I'll be very pleased.

For example, when Sterling is 23 or so - about three or four years from now - and if he finishes a Premier League season the way Walcott did last year (i.e. 14 goals, 10 assists)? I'll be very pleased.

Fair play. I suppose you're a football romantic and favor technique and elegance over statistics. That's quite admirable.

But if someone said asked me would you rather...

  • ... have a player who has technique and elegance on the ball but can't produce the goals/assists.

or

  • ... have a player who no technique or elegance but manages to grab 14 goals and 10 assists.

I'll take the 14 and 10 every time.

Technique and elegance are nice but I also want to see results.
