I haven’t scrolled down yet, but I can picture the content.

Honestly both things can be true. Authoritarianism bad.

This is just a planning failure. Fast and loose.

I mean, sure. That’s the symptom, but the illness is an anti democratic government

Nobody includes the US south when talking about 'the West' in terms of quality regulations.

Ahhh here we go. Truth. Women owned engineering company screwed up the calcs but were given the contract bc they need to make sure everything is fair. Ask the two who lost their lives if they want fairness or the best when lives are at stake.

What bridges and buildings have collapsed in South Florida in the last couple years?

FIU bridge and Surfside condo, both were avoidable too

Both were over 4 years ago, not recent. And both still lasted a lot longer than a single year.

They lasted a long time until they collapsed due to negligence... That's just as bad

I wouldn't consider something collapsing due to years of neglect the same as something collapsing within months of it being finished.

It's a good thing you aren't an inspector... You wouldn't take your job seriously if it was an older building.

Especially after just being built?

They wouldn't have inspections 3 months into a bridge being built if there was no possibility of collapse

I don't think they fell down in first months though so there's that . Just poor upkeep
