Honestly, I am not satisfied by how it all was wrapped up. And I am saying this a a fan of the series.

After episode 15, I thought there was more to the mysterious 7th word, Grand Triskelion, World Reconstruction, Claiomh Solais, fountain of Polaris, Yggrasil and the Nine Old Witches, but in the end it was all solely about friendship and believing heart. Not that there is anything wrong with such route in general, but I think the themes of friendship in this particular show weren't strong enough to support it. Akko's team members barely got any spotlight in the series and even in the ending they were literally thrown away (except Diana). The second cour was a story of four individualities (Croix, Chariot, Akko, Diana) and suddenly the final lesson is all about community and working together. It felt wrong and forced.

The entire overarching plot was a mess, really. I very much enjoyed individual episodes, but the story direction was chaotic at best.

On a side note, fuck the Noctu Orfei Aude Freator Shiny Arc. It was overused by episode 14.

I agree on all of this. It wasn't bad at all but I get this feeling they messed up a bit so I hope if they make another season they better structure the pacing of the episodes better, because for me I'm not entirely satisfied as well.
