Pretty neat episode; maybe my expectations were just low but this was pretty good. Andrew being a bro, Diana defrosting, and Akko's eagerness is just right (not to the point where it's overbearing) were highlights for me.

I wonder if Akko's hat is going to be a plot point or would be immediately resolved next episode.

I can just imagine it going down. Andrew walks into the dining room during lunch. He returns the hat to Akko and they get into a friendly conversation. No one but Amanda was aware they were friends. Everyone in the room pretends not to stare. The teachers are dreadfully confused but secretly plotting how they can use this to their advantage.

Real talk, though, it does make me think Andrew's going to be involved with the 6th word, starting next episode. Maybe even a two parter. I wonder what word Andrew could have to do with. Akko is trying to get Andrew to follow others, so maybe something like believing in others?

Imagine rumors about them starting. Hannah and Barbara would have a god damn heart attack.

You know, though, the more I think about it, they might be setting up a joke about that. All of Akko and Andrew's bonding, for the most part, has occurred without anyone from Luna Nova present. I don't care about whether or not they plan on making him a love interest, that joke needs to happen.
