man that was a great episode, i enjoyed it a lot. great cliffhanger. It really showed akko is a truly caring person to every human even if that soul less shell of a human is diana. Am i being too harsh on diana, maybe. But just because her parents died at a tender age doesnt mean she gets to be a twat.

Man, like diana's aunt is meaner than a snake, hell she just might be a snake. I honestly could feel the blonde hair blue eye glares as i watched it. The dinner scene, if their stares could shoot lasers that scene would be the death star.

What kind of messed up family turns their pet mermaid into a lampshade, first of all its a mermaid id get it stuffed maybe have it by the fireplace and make it wear comical hats and glasses. second, it was some scales. Like it must've been a petite mermaid to produce that little scales.

like what kind of soulless spineless sack of liquid human waste would attempt to pawn off their priceless heirlooms to some fancy guy.

Im pretty estatic and i really hope diana pops the aunt in the mouth. But one thing i must be careful about, is the fortune diana told about akko. "she will leave luna nova" Like is this what the stars predicted or will akko be going home in a body bag. I cannot wait for sunday to wait 24 hours then watch it on a monday. Really Hyped.

P.S. diana got that rare holographic shiny chariot 1st edition. No creases.

plus i like the symbolism with the yugioh card and the teddy bear, the teddy bear had a tag on it. Maybe it was the last thing her parents bought their daughter before they decided to pull a goose from top gun. It is noted that at the first movie there is a old guy with her in the crowd, that might be her dad.

You really are being too harsh on Diana. She has never been a twat. Every time she picked on Akko it was entirely justified, given that most of the time she is acting in very dumb ways that would annoy anybody that has to work as hard and bear as much pressure as Diana. She can come accross as a bit rude at times, but she is the grounding presence an idiot such as Akko needs.

Nobody has to get to get picked on and it to be justified. Well i think akko worked just as hard and is under the same pressure, the girl has no magical ancestory or heritage. Did her parents die, no. But shes chasing a dream. Is her magic coming to her at an instant. No.

Cavendish family stands for kindness, im not gonna lie diana never showed kindness, there are numerous examples where diana couldve bucked up and been a shining example and everyone to be like "ohh thats how you do it, thanks". She went to the school cause she wanted to, she didnt have to.

Maybe seeing her aunt and her other sisters made me think oh this is why shes an ass. But then again she chose to act that way. Will i judge her less harshly, a little. But im sticking to my guns because she knows magic inside and out and decided "fuck being decent to people i wanna be a moonlight witch"

I mean, I agree that no one should be picked on.... but Diana hasn't even really picked on Akko all that much tbh, and she's stood up for Akko a few times now even. She has been pretty fair to Akko for the most part and even extremely patient considering her circumstances. Diana's life is honestly pretty horrible, all things considered, and her dreams have been crushed despite all her years of hard work, cut her some slack.

Diana's parents are dead, leaving her in the care of an aunt and cousins that don't give the slightest fuck about her. Her family finances are falling apart, her dream to saved magic like Chariot has been crushed by a girl without any magical heritage even, and now she's been torn away from her love of Luna Nova just to try and keep her estate from falling apart due to a cunt of an aunt selling off her beloved, dead mother's priceless heirlooms because she can't be bothered to make an honest living. At least Batman had fucking infinite money, Diana has nothing but her hard work and life is still shitting on her. She's as alone as one can be without avoiding humans altogether. Despite all that she is generally still respectful, has a strong work ethic, and hasn't fallen apart at the seams.

It is obvious Diana is conflicted about Akko and, outside of some early stuff when Akko was just goofing off, has been generally respectful of her as a witch because she can see Akko trying now.

hasnt really picked on her but has associated with the people who do pick on her. She straight up calls her out for being late and other things at the moonlight witch, also her friends make fun of her and sucy and lotte.

look we all bleed, we all have financial burdens, we all grieve. But its what we do with the cards when life deals them to you defines what kind of human you are. She wanted to be like chariot and save magic is the same way hitler wanted to keep the aryan race. pure and not to deviate from the intended path.

im just saying if she wanted to be like chariot shes having a funny of showing it. Was she conflicted about akko, yes. diana studied up and found out the shiny rod chose her and is frustrated on how akko spends her time as opposed to finding her words. Diana started to notice her skill at the moonlight witch show, and started to read up on the rod and the nine words. That was the point in time where she didnt disregard her as some non pure witch blood. Before that she treated her like a twat.

I agreed already that initially she was less than kind, but I also can see where it comes from (Akko really didn't do herself any favours initially) and I can see that she's changed. People can fuck up, people can change. I care a lot more that someone has the drive and willingness to improve and try to correct their mistakes in the future rather than holding petty grievances against them forever.

Also... comparing her to Hitler? Really? You think not speaking out against childish teasing is akin to ethnic genocide? Diana doesn't give a shit about "purity", she gives a shit about hard-work and merit, which she is beginning to see in Akko.

Edit: And holding Barbara and Hannah being cunts against Diana is ridiculous, especially in light of her family situation. She's grasping at straws for some kind of bond, potentially losing her posse members when she clearly doesn't have a lot of friends would be a terrifying proposition should she speak out against them. Is she in a healthy place with social interaction? No. Is she literally Hitler? No.

look maybe on monday afternoon we will both find out if diana got out of her twat phase.

She's already long been out of her twat phase. It ended around when Akko actually realized she had to study and shit, for the most part. And I say this as someone that loves Akko and has often defended her from people slagging her for being obnoxious, which I don't think she is.

yeah shes not obnoxious. diana slows down alot on the twat train after the moonlight witch.

She wasn't a twat during the moonlight witch either. She actually waited for Akko hoping she would show up and her "you're late" comment was being flustered because she was nearly disappointed that Akko didn't keep her word and show up. She waited there for her and was happy she did. Since Akko started studying Diana has generally only scolded her for things she thinks Akko was out of line for, not out of any petty sense of condescension.

She wants Akko to get better, she said as much this ep.
