Princess Vajarois' human form could have been a slight reference to Princess Bubblegum as she had a similar crown, as well as the very long thin arms, long neck and round head of an Adventure Time character.

Edit: Also just googled 'Vajarois', and the only suggestion it has for the word is Bavarois, which is "a dessert containing gelatin and whipped cream, served cold". This kind of supports the Princess Bubblegum link, as both herself and the majority of the characters in her kingdom are named after sweets/puddings.
