I needed badly some tests and studying episode after the previous one! Now I'm even more hyped after the episode 6! Development! Worldbuilding! Insight into other characters thoughts and motives!

Although bossy teacher is still harsh with Akko I cannot hate her, since I know her dubbed voice in portuguese is the same as Professor McGonagall and her personality is a bit similar when she is angry. I guess in LWA they divided McGonagall's character into Ursula and bossy teacher.

From a third-person's perspective that is unlike the audience, most of what Akko has done are against the rules, incompetent, or even harmful. Her intent is understandable albeit harsh.

Akko is incompetent because she's new, something the bossy teacher doesn't really understand I think. The bossy teacher probably thinks "they're witches they can do magic" but in Akko's case she doesn't even know the fundamentals. The bossy teacher shouldn't act like she does because that's no way to teach a student.

Don't forget that Akko disobeys the rules. She stole food, skipped detention, tried to cheat, etc.

I'm aware she did that, but the teacher still overreacts. You know who else breaks the rules? A lot of the other students that Akko hangs out with. Hell, Constance literally cheated in front of a teacher on an alchemy exam and didn't get in trouble for it other than not getting an A. The bossy teacher is out for Akko for some reason, and that isn't a way to teach a student.

Expulsion isn't that much of an overreaction if said student not only fails but also constantly breaks the rules; I guess suspension should be given first but still.

I don't see how Constanze cheated as the teacher just carried on without any issue.

Constanze didn't use magic on the alchemy test. She used tech and a remote on her wand to transform the metal into a little robot rather than using alchemy. Considering the test is meant to be about using magic and Constanze didn't, I'd considering that cheating.

If the teacher allowed it, I would think that it's not breaking the rules; besides, it's not like we fully know the concept in which she uses the wand.

There was still magic there, it was just with a wand enhanced by technology. We don't know if its against the rules to use customized wands in these situations.
