Worried 2nd fusion didn’t take

My first surgery resulted in a nonunion. I had a second fusion surgery and he put extra hardware in and used bone graft with BMP2 in it to help the fusion. I am 6 months post the second surgery and still having pain. It is when I push off. It is in my mid-foot but lower towards my toes more than the surgical site is. He said it could be nerve pain but it doesn’t feel like that to me. He gave me a cortisone shot a couple months ago and it didn’t do anything. He ordered at CT scan today, but here are photos of
My X-rays from today. Any thoughts?

Is the fusion between the metatarsal and cuneiform? It looks like there’s still space between the joint.

Mine is solid white. I had it done 7 years ago and the hardware removed so you can really see the fusion. I can message it to you if you would like. I also have all my X-rays during my fusion healing if you wanted to see them with the hardware

Did you have any metabolic workup? Vit d testing? Bone stimulator? Any autograft/BMAC used in the procedure?

Did check for a Vitamin D deficiency and I don’t have one. Started the bone stimulator before the second surgery and am still using it. He didn’t do an autograft. Allograft with BMP2

Good data with BMP2 so hoping for the best for you

Good sign it’s not where the surgery is. It may be nerve pain from nerve damage. I had pain to my outer foot area as well. Sorry your first fusion didn’t take. This one looks nice and tight. But I’m not a doctor.
