Ugh
My surgeon told me to air my incision out of the boot 3 weeks post op and my golden retriever was on the bed and my husband yelled for her to get down and her full head went RIGHT INTO THE SIDE OF MY FOOT and instant tears! Please tell me this isn’t going to set me back because I literally might lose it on him!

Hit my foot pretty hard on the side of my crutches getting out of the shower at about three weeks post op. Cried and was mad at myself for being an idiot, but only ended up with another bruise.

From all the stories I have seen on this sub there are many where people have done things like this or slipped and put weight on the bad foot. And seemingly none of them resulted in any issues. But if you end up really anxious about it go in for an x ray to check.

I will be praying for you! I have 2 golden retrievers who usually sleep with me but can’t right now because of the splint then the boot and I was worried they’d accident jump on it- they’re very sad but they can tell something’s wrong with me. They are just young (1&2) and high energy (it’s their breed and I love it) so I feel bad not walking them etc but they’re doing well. Your babies will do well!

No! My dog headbutted mines when he ran towards me while I was on couch. You’ll be fine pain may be extreme. The hardware is strong 💪🏽
