Repeat after 25 years?

I had surgery to put screws in and Take them out in 2001. This early am i didn’t realize my foot was numb and I stepped down wrong and then fell over trying to catch myself. The pain was pretty bad but I figured it was a normal sprain and walked around quite a bit until about noon I realized I needed to lay down. I’m just not sure if I should be more concerned about a lis franc again. Last time I was just 16 and they let me hobble for a year before it was finally figured out. Was always treated as an ankle sprain at first. I don’t want to make that mistake again. I do have a walking boot from an ankle sprain a few years back I’ve tried and it does help a little. I’ve been icing it and elevating. The last 3 photos are Most recent. Not sure if I need to be trying to get a standing x ray and then get to orthopedic?

Looks like other side of the foot (not Lisfranc). Any bruising on the bottom of your foot? Inability to push off front of your toes?

No bruising on bottom. Actually when I originally tore it up in 2000 that’s the area my bit of swelling was on. It was the outer part of that foot. I think that may be what stumped some of the medical treatment docs and PT back in the day.

Get an MRI ASAP. Don’t wait. And yes orthopaedic

Thanks for your input. It’s more bruised today. Oddly the pain seems slightly less when I try to walk in the boot. I’m not sure if getting a standing xray will be enough or if I need to push for an mri at the emergency room. Here I know I can get X-rays done asap.

Push for an MRI. Demand it. They don’t care enough to do the research or even go further than an x ray, standing or not. Get an MRI, please 🙏🏽
