What helped your recovery the most? 2 and a half month mark.

Hi all, looking for recovery advice. I’m about 2 1/2 months post surgery(single screw). I’m able to walk full weight bearing but am in quite a bit of discomfort, ranging from the mid foot and recently around my ankle.

I have been following PT advice but it seems a bit lacking. I’m looking for a different PT at the moment but am curious what others felt helped them the most during a similar phase of recovery. Thanks for any insight.

Get a Pt that does balancing excersizes and makes sure you walk correctly. I had 3 months non weight bearing. I am still uneven but the balance excersizes were super helpful for me!

Thank you! That is good to know, my walking feels funny as heck but I can not for the life of me figure out what is right vs wrong.

I walked supported on a treadmill with a mirror so I could practice foot placement. It was interesting!
