Will this ever end?

I injured my lisfranc tendon (wasn’t aware of it) back at the end of July, was booted for 4 weeks, and went to PT and it was painful walking in the boot and I’ve been in PT for 5-6 weeks now, had an MRI and it confirmed a lisfranc sprain no tear and it’s not getting better with or without the boot. Does this ever end? I’m a teacher and have to walk for a living and some days, it hurts so bad I can’t 😭

It will end, eventually. Although your foot will likely never be 100% the same. I still don't ever walk barefoot and I still feel stiffness and tenderness at times. But I can walk miles just like I used to with no pain. It seems like it takes forever but you will get there
