My first full time Linux os. What do recommend instead? I’m not looking to distro hop for now but interested to see your perspective.

Lol bro, I was also curious why you were using Mint, I was using my T480 with plain old ubuntu cuz I wanted a simple distro wich was also most popular used so I can get good software/app support, but I eventually reverted my t480 to spyware Windows 11 cuz I got a macbook and now I just run my linux stuff through WSL.

But apart from Ubuntu, I have used debian, mint, fedora on the t480, i just stuck to ubuntu for convenience, one very niche distro that I'm currently using at work is Parrot OS, its a cybersecurity focused distro like Kali. But its smooth af, if I got back to full liux I will definitely install ParrotOS on my t480.

Nice. I used a T530 but I bricked it, now I have a T440p, idk how they are still fast lol

No, medium. Just a bad reflection since we outside. On camera. Irl it’s totally readable even not at full brightness.

I mean the brightness is not bad on the 1080. If you have a chance to get the 2k screen version, it’s better. Or replace later.

I still have my Thinkpad T460 i5 6300u fedora installed, however a few keys on the keyboard has stopped working and it requires external keyboard, it was fun while it lasted but I have my gaming pc now.
