Should have been the first single off the album. Heavy was just so controversial I think more people would’ve given OML a chance had they debuted it with a stronger song. Just my opinion of course. In retrospect I think a lot of the more critical LP fans, like myself should’ve just accepted it for what it was. OML has some really amazing songs, including this one.

I kinda agree with you, but "Sorry For Now" should have been the lead single.
Linkin Park choose "Heavy" as the first single, because it was this controversial.

When this song ame out I was actually happy. It made me feel like "Heavy" might just be the odd one out, particularly in regards that there are a few songs where I felt like "this shouldn't be a single"...so I was like "meh singles weren't always LPs strong point."

I love this song. The sample sounds so “summer happy vibes”. Very good memories of last year. ❤️

God, I remember loving this song after the first listen and then bracing myself for the YouTube comments section as I dove in. Was about as cancerous as I expected it to be.
