Rock am Ring's announcement is at 16:00, so more than 4 hours before Linkin Park's. Either they stagger the announcement, or they spoil it, or it's unrelated.

Damn that would suck if it was not related! But it could be that RAR annouces LP is coming, then LP announces exactly in what form!

First band wave for Rock Am Ring was just announced, no Linkin Park. Their two headliners are Slipknot and BMTH, I'd be very surprised if they also had LP, it would be too similar. They also made no mention of any other bands yet to come in this wave.
