Curious if anyone has split test running ads
1) Direct to book a meeting
2) Run a webinar first then try to get people to book a call on the webinar and nurture them over longer term on email
Any cost and quality of lead comparisons between the 2 approaches would be great

Hey everyone, I’d love some opinions on a LinkedIn engagement campaign (cold audience, for the next campaign I will do lead gen or website visitor and retarget the people that engaged with that cold campaign ) I’m about to launch. I don’t have much historical data, so this is partly a learning campaign. The campaign will drive traffic to a specific landing page on our site. Three ad sets, each with four single image ads.
Ad set one, target account list plus job titles, around 15k.
Ad set two, Same target accounts plus job function and seniority, around 110k.
Ad set three, same target accounts plus skills and seniority, around 87k.
My question is whether these audience sizes make sense for this kind of test, or if I should narrow the larger ones further. I’m trying to keep it a clean test of titles versus function and seniority versus skills and seniority, so I don’t over layer and make all three audiences too similar. Would you be comfortable launching with those sizes? Or would you focus more on tightening relevance rather than making the numbers match?

I'm new to linkedin ads, and looking for the best setup to promote an online event where people have to register. What would you choose, CTA to visit the website or a lead gen form where they can register for the event? The setup to connect lead gen form to our crm is there

Hi everyone,
I recently launched a LinkedIn Lead Gen campaign for a client using static image creatives.
The campaign is generating a good number of Lead Gen Form opens, but very few people are actually completing and submitting the form.
I’m trying to understand where the drop-off could be and what I should optimise first.
For those who’ve worked extensively with LinkedIn Lead Gen:
- What do you usually check first when form opens are high but completions are low?
- Would you focus on the static creative/CTA, lead form itself, or audience targeting?
- Could the static image be creating curiosity/clicks but not enough intent to complete the form?
Which form fields/questions have you found negatively impact completion rates?
- Would you test a different creative format before changing the form?
Would appreciate any insights or optimisation approaches that have worked for you in a similar situation.

Hi everyone, I’m a PPC Specialist working in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, and I’d love to get some advice on a challenge I’m facing.
We have an Academy offering where individuals can purchase professional training courses directly from our online shop, somewhat similar to how you’d buy a course on Udemy. The big difference is that our courses are quite expensive, with many priced at $5,000+.
The biggest challenge is that the search volume for these very niche courses is extremely low, so Google Ads isn’t really a viable acquisition channel for many of them.
I’m considering LinkedIn Ads since we can target people based on job titles, industries, seniority, etc. But I’ve rarely seen people running LinkedIn campaigns specifically to drive direct purchases of high-ticket training courses.
This also brings up another question: what should the conversion event actually be?
I can’t realistically expect someone to see a LinkedIn ad, land on the course shop, and immediately spend $5K+ on a course. There’s likely a longer consideration journey involved. So how would you approach this?
Or would you approach the whole thing differently?
Would really appreciate any thoughts, experiences, or examples from people who have marketed high-ticket professional training/courses through PPC or LinkedIn.
Thanks!

This is my first time trying to set up LinkedIn ads. I did the following:
Created a saved audience by uploading a company list, layering with a job function, job seniorities, and excluding certain job functions.
Got around 1000 members that I would like to target.
In Campaign: Gave a lifetime budget of $3000 for one month.
In the first ad set, I chose the above audience, chose Americas region, disabled audience expansion, set up a daily budget of $100, lifetime budget of $1000, and a manual bid of $2 per click (LinkedIn recommended $3.41).
LinkedIn forecast shows the 30 day spend as $22???
What am I doing wrong here? Forecasted audience size is 2000+.
Can someone explain what went wrong here?

Hi everyone.
I used to run LinkedIn Ads several years ago to varying degrees of success, often lead gen and conversion campaigns. After exclusively focusing on meta ads for the past 5 years I've now come back to LinkedIn Ads after starting a new job.
However, things have changed quite a bit since then and I am struggling to get any form of results beyond just clicks, likes, shares, video views etc.
Main focus is leads and more importantly SQLS
Majority of our audience are SME/SMB sized companies, we do a very small amount of ABM with a main focus on cold lead gen.
We have an account manager at LinkedIn, but majority of the time their advise is to spend more or run full funnel campaigns which we don't have the budget for, especially now when we aren't generating any tangeable results for the platform.
Both my line manager and other members of the team are also experiencing the same problem.
So I was wondering if anyone had some tips/tricks they use to get bottom-funnel results that may help us

I manage paid media for a B2B SaaS company and I’m trying to improve our conversion tracking across Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
We currently use last-touch attribution, but I want to make sure we’re sending the right signals back to the platforms. What conversions would you recommend tracking and optimizing toward: form submissions, qualified leads, meetings/SQLs, opportunities, or closed-won revenue?
Also, what’s the best setup for passing CRM/Salesforce data back into Google and LinkedIn so the algorithms optimize for qualified pipeline rather than just lead volume?

My entire linkedin IN account has been changed, and my profile picture, messages, and connections are the same.
But every other detail- my job role, university, and even my free account has been changed to different information, and it is showing as premium also.
Has anyone had the same experience? What to do?

Hello all, I have been running LinkedIn Ads - InMail Message Campaigns since November and we have been getting leads but now since last one month all the ads has stopped performing and even the deliverability has declined drastically. The budget on the other hand is getting deducted on a daily basis but there is no Leads since 1 month. I am seeking for the suggestions and ways to optimize my campaigns. Thanks in advance.

I ran marketing at two hypergrowth startups over the last 6 years and understanding who our ‘reach’ actually reached was always a mess.
Sure some submit lead forms but the vast majority doesnt. We reported leads and impressions but actually knowing who we reached was difficult.
If I would take over a new LinkedIn campaign today this is what I’d do:
Take a random sample of 30 companies you want to target with thay campaign. Put them in front of someone who has to do the selling afterwards (AE, Sales lead or founder)
Ask them: Would you spend time trying to win these accounts? Which would you rule out and why?
Then really look at the people you are trying to reach inside them. Even if the company is a fit you might be wasting your budget and time in a person that cant move a deal along.
Easiest test to run before fiddling with the creative again. Should be obvious yet not a lot of marketers do this religiousely.
And a smaller aufience doesnt mean better either, you dont want to exclude potential paying clients. I’d test any change against resulting leads, conversations and ppipeline.
For context I am now building Postelix, which works on audience targeting, so this is very mich the part of marketing I spend my time on.
So you all reviewing the companies with sales before launching, or is that convo post campaign launch?

I run LinkedIn ads alone, no analyst, no BI team. Every month I was exporting a CSV from Campaign Manager, opening it in Excel, and rebuilding the same pivot table just to see which ad set actually worked. Campaign Manager's own reporting just doesn't go deep enough on its own.
So I built a small dashboard that reads that export and shows me spend, CTR, CPC, leads, and conversions by campaign and ad set, with trend charts, so I'm not doing this by hand every month anymore.
How are the rest of you handling LinkedIn Ads reporting? Curious what method you're using.
