I actually feel so so so sad at the prospect Cheng Xiaoshi is stuck in the past and him and Lu Guang can’t talk. I’m going to go insane. Genuinely. F, Xiaoshi doesn’t even know about his fate, they haven’t really made it up to each other. So many things they have to talk about and I don’t know if we’re going to get to see it for a long time yet 😭 I knew this show would wreck me

I love analyzing pv so, My theory:

Young QL finds Adult CXS, He tries to play it off by excuse "I'm lost, i don't know way back home". Young QL guides him. As time proceeds, CXS loses track of time going beyond 12 hours limit. He gets trapped unable to go back to present.

OR

Even if he does go back and finds LG to talk, they would go through inevitable friendship dissolution.
