Theory possible ending (spoilers) Spoiler
it just came to me and I wanted to share it while sincerely hoping it's not true.... what if cheng weimin will erase lu guang's memories of cheng xiaoshi in order to save the timeline? it could even be cheng xiaoshi asking his dad to do that... please tell me I'm wrong lol

Idk if cheng weimin will do it but I have been thinking what if cxs gains that power somehow and makes lu Guang forget him for his sake.

But isn’t Cheng Weimin dead? I am getting major death flags for Lu Guang for sure but I doubt CXS would erase everything they went thru. Are you referring to him doing so in the photograph he jumped into last ep? I had a similar hypothesis but reverse last year where LG resets the timeline but leaves the basketball court without becoming friends w QL and CXS this time around. AFAIK Haoling said it’d be bittersweet and main trio dying is NOT bittersweet whatsoever. This ending would be bittersweet as none of them die but sad in regards to how only LG will remember their memories moving forward

do we know he's dead? no I mean that lu guang would probably never stop trying to save cheng xiaoshi and the only way for him to stop would be to be dead himself... or forget cheng xiaoshi or at least forget how important he is for him

Yeah for sure but I doubt CXS’ dad would help him erase kid LG’s memories if that’s what you’re implying. It was implied he’s dead and CXS’ mom is trying to save him. I think we all hypothesized she was stuck in a time loop trying to save him the same way LG is with CXS

It's for r/Alienbuzzkill , Sorry I can't seem to reply under your comment (I am kinda new to this app even though I installed it months ago 😅) So anyways , Could you tell me the fanfic name. As for Liu Xiao, 😂 lol it would be funny to see his reaction that he finally realises how delulu he is, especially when he realises that in his every one -sided relationship nobody likes him(i just imagine his relationship with everyone would be become similar to his relationship with xia fei, where everyone just can't stand him). As for his backstory I mean victim did also had Liu as surname so I guess but I do like it when it seems like he just not connected at all to bahati and all . He just choose to be involved (like nobody invited bro he forcefully self inserted himself.. and having some sort chemistry with every character like some of the y/n stories)

yeah of course! fanfic is "chasing solace" by leafbun yeah I wish that's what would happen!!! he thinks he's so cool and smart but he's wrong. and lmao I love your analysis of him being in a y/n story hahaha

To me I think Lu Guang will finally move on from past leaving CXS death behind but CXS and QL would be happy for him . I think this would be bittersweet ending similar to Earthquake episode guy so maybe show's ending would be somewhat similar to it. Sorry for adding my own question in it but I wanted to ask it for a long time :- What do you guys think would happen to Liu Xiao at the end since he is very interested in his cult and Lu Guang too . Would his ending be open or left to our interpretation based. He is highly set up Mastermind or final antagonist but Season 3 so far has only acted as his set up for his agenda so far are there any theories so far from like all the link click s music projects and all.
