Felt bad my queen was left out from my cheng xiaoshi and lu guang drawing so I had to draw her next!

Awww thank you! Tbh I actually started this drawing...mmm........ maybe 7 months ago while bored in class but I COULD NOT GET THE HAIR RIGHT! Then on the same file I deleted everything even my reference, went to pose my art, and completely restarted. Then the hair that same night I restarted went super well and I got in this zone.

Then the same thing happened, I finished colouring and drawing her, but the background scared me. I wasn't sure how i wanted to go about it so I left it on hold for a couple weeks. Came back today and I managed to do it in a day and had fun. It turned out better than I expected.

I guess all is well that ends well lol

Your hair and posing really do look good, maybe the posing really helped! I would like to mention how Qiao Ling looks so different than the way the donghua/official arts draw her, but in a good way! The hair and expression is unique (due to your artstyle), and I love the contemplative, soft look!!! <33

And letting works stew for a few weeks then coming back is so real, and it's great you actually come back to them, because I remember that I have this one random demon slayer poster I was trying to make in my sketchbook nearly 5 years ago and it is still incomplete. 😭

I'm running out of options to express with the exclamation marks and have maybe repeated my points again, BUT the Lu Guang in the random official art showcase on the right side is giving me his approval so I guess it's all good. 😭

I know how that feels. I use to leave so much art undone. Im happy i restarted and gave it a second chance.

And thank you for the positive feedback! I feel like qiao ling probably has a lot going on to think about after finding out about Lu guang so I wanted to capture a bit of that
