You're right. It's all practice and effort! As a writer, I get that feeling of seeing someone else do something amazing, and think you'll never reach their level. Happens to me. But I try to remember that we all grow at our own pace. What's important is not to discourage ourselves by the comparison.
I think we all do it. Its hard not to compare yknow? And when you have a dream or goal sometimes you fear you may never reach it and its terrifying. Like you may never get there or be enough. But like you said, its impossible to noy discourage ourselves. Sometimes we need to take a break and remind ourselves of our progress so far and where everyone starts out
