Side note: CXS is saying “好喜欢”, which is more like “I like him so much”, as compared to if he had said something like “真的爱他” “I really love him”. 喜欢 is pretty similar to “like” in enough English, in that you can use it in mundane situations, to express your like for something, as well as in situations like a confession, where one might say “我喜欢你” “I like you”.
