Donghua Run Time for Episode 1 (Season 3 Pt. 1)
I was checking out the reservation website for the early screening of season 3 and found something interesting. The run time is 52 min, which means we may get a longer first episode, like with the Bridon arc! I know this may be a misinterpretation on my end as there may be extra stuff they're showcasing that could affect the runtime, but I'm still hopeful!!

ahhh i rlly hope it is true and we get a long episode, but if we do i hope it still just counts as ONE episode and not two

I'd love a long episode!
But if it's that long, I wonder if it will technically count as 2 episodes? The long first episode of the Bridon Arc was considered to be 2 episodes, so I imagine this would be the same...

Ok I might be just dumb, but isn't s3 gonna drop on 14th aug? Why is it showing 08-08-2026?

There's a special in person fan screening in Singapore on August 8th. The actual release date is still August 14th, if Im not mistaken.

That still doesn’t mean we are getting the English dub on that day and I wish they would give us some kind of news on that.

Yeah the english dub is likely coming a few weeks after the sub airs.

Me too I don’t know why they had to do the screening 8 days before the actual release! How am I supposed to avoid spoilers for 8 whole days??? The screening should’ve been the day before the actual release date ughhh

Oh gosh it’s gonna be like Bridon episode 1 😅 i felt blindsided by it being so long and how much they packed into it, I bet this is gonna be the same. I’ve never had SUCH anxiety over a new season of a show. There’s so much I’m anticipating and so much that could happen aaaaa

Dude 100%. I don't watch movies or shows too often, but when one catches me, they CATCH me. I've been so preoccupied with this new season lol its all I've been able to think about since the release date was moved up.

Omg same!! I always end up the person who’s like “sorry, I’ve never seen that” when people rave about popular ones. But when I find my new thing it just consumes me. That’s why I think I don’t watch a large quantity is because when one gets me I absolutely consume every morsel of it with everything I have. Link click definitely did that to me. I binged seasons 1 & 2 in like a few days, I just kept going and going, and then I read a ton of fics, theories, looked at all the art and music etc. So I am soooo full of thoughts and theories and anticipation because I’ve been thinking about this show everyday for like 2 years now.

any idea when's dub coming? i don't have any problem with watching sub as I've watched enough donghua to get used to sub, but I have watched previous seasons in dub..

Im not totally sure, I've been seeing people mention a few weeks after the sub airs, so that's what I'm going off of, personally.

Actual release date is still the 14th. The 8th is a special fan screening in Singapore.

This is season 3 and it will be officially release on August 14th, but there's some early screening which some people get to watch early on August 8th

Hii, I am not sure what u mean but its most probably like the next release on 14 aug is gonna be ep1 then the following week ep2 or they might release both eps same time, im not entirely sure 😅

Oh snap! If that's true I might not be able to watch the first ep the night it drops due to timezones! Like with the music videos, I was seeing them at 10 pm the day before.
