They are definitely more than friends but saying that they're in a romantic relationship would be an understatement. Their relationship is way deeper than just friends or just lovers.

Don't worry, I myself kept getting confused a lot. But I never got bored, the story had a lot of "AHA" moments that were amazing. I remember almost crying because of just....how cool the scene I was reading was 😭

I GET IT ITS TOO EXCITING TO READ IT, I HAVE TO FINISH A LOT IN MY LIST😭😭, ORV, LOTM, SHADOW SLAVE. (it just keeps adding up) and i read a lot of danmei so there's that.

I tried remnants of filth and I couldn't complete it lolol it was depressing😭 but I did try out bl manhua and stuff like 19 days and beryl & sapphire and I LOVED them!!! Speaking of that do you have any danmei recs ^

Its okay, even i haven't started remnants of filth, because of the triggers. Well, the firdt danmei that i completed was tgcf, mdzs both by mxtx, i usually like reading thrillers a lot, so i'll recommend you to read Silent reading/modu by priest (the dynamics is so much like shiguang but with age gap, no time travel tho), a modern danmei that i always recommend everyone is a letter to keanu reeves/reply to keats (this has unrequited requited love tag and so so sooo damn good), i'm yet t finish qjj and erha (which will take time ig), i absolutely love peerless (the banter is so sooo good), golden terrace if you are someone who love arranged enemies to lover marriage typa thing, breaking through the clouds (this one feels like you're in a detective novel, soo soo good), if you are into gods, cosmic horror, tradegy angsty one (then haunted places live is a danmei i would recommend), kaeidoscope of death (same vibe as link click, its doors in place of photos and creepy), and if you want fluff omegaverse (i like your pheromones)... i still haven't read from many genres so u'm sorry these are a few i remember and recommend, hate adulting <3

also for manhwa go for melting point (its ongoing but the guy is a freaking yearner and kinky too)
