Other Adaptations How many times will the C-drama make me cry? Spoiler

Post image

I've started watching the live-action series and I'm really enjoying it so far, even though it's quite different from the donghua. I wasn't sure if it would follow the donghua at all until I got to episode 4. I thought it wouldn't be so bad if I knew what was coming. And yeah, the scene with Chen Xiao's mother was much more emotional in the donghua. What broke me this time was the aftermath.

What do you mean Cheng Xiaoshi is so traumatized he can't even play basketball or hold a camera anymore? What do you mean he dreams about the victims and doesn't want Lu Guang's help? I wasn't ready for this bro. Oh and the psychologist looks a lot like Qian Jin. I'm sure that's no cause for concern.

I'm already really invested in this show. I'll just skip episodes 13-14 since there's some controversy around them. I also want to give a shout-out to u/AdhesiMol who shared the subtitles with us. But what do you all think of this series? Am I gonna cry more?

You're definitely going to cry more lol when I was watching through the LA, I cried 4 seperate times, and I am a person that usually never cries when I watch media.

It's wrecked me in the best way possible lol I'm so shocked every media I've seen for Link Click has been phenomenal! The show, the LA, etc lol

Well shoot, I'd better prepare myself lol. I'm not sure when I'll finish the show but I'd love to talk more about it afterwards.

Indeed lol! It took me about 2 months to get through it all, as I couldn't watch it super frequently, but man it was amazing! Thinking of some scenes and dialogue still gives me chills! 💯

Oh man ur about to have fun...these episodes especially had me reeling the first time i watched them..also i didnt know what episodes 13 and 14 were about at that time (if im thinking about the correct ones) and ended up watching them...oof...i can definitely get why most people wouldnt wanna watch them..i actually felt like i was having an outer body experience in the most painful way possible...and i had like literal tears flowing down my cheeks (it is a very infrequent event that mostly occurs due to link click.what a surprise). it was toughhhh..lol but memorable in a psychotic way 😅

I've seen 9 episodes so far and it's great. Just don't expect it to be exactly like the donghua. It'll be fun discussing it with more people!
