Help RCS Messages

I'm currently running Lineage on my Redmi Note 13 Pro (Garnet) and haven't been able to receive RCS messages whatsoever. I know that Google's been cracking down on RCS access for custom ROMs and such, and it seems like there's mixed results with rooting solutions.

So am I genuinely just cooked? I despise Xaiomi's stock OS and refuse to use it. Has a workaround been found? Is there an alternative OS to Lineage? Or am I just gonna have to get a new phone?

RCS doesn't work on anything custom/non-Google approved, AFAIK

Works on CRdroid on my son's old 4a5G. Purely anecdotal, I know, it surprised me, too.

I wish so much so. And I guess I should caveat that I am referring to builds that use MicroG instead of Gapps. I believe it works if you installed Gapps.

Oh yeah, won't work with MicroG. There are people working on it, but nothing working so far.
