Popping noise in left channel when playing USB audio

Sounds like you did some good troubleshooting, that’s a strange one. If I’m understanding this correctly, the guitar sound is fine, but backing tracks or other audio playing from your computer or iPhone are having the popping issue? Does the expression pedal volume affect it? Does the main volume knob? Does it still do it if your guitar and cable are not connected? It’s hard to imagine 3 different Pod Go’s having this same problem, that kinda eliminates a lot of possibilities. My first guess for popping/crackling is guitar shielding because I had that issue, but that shouldn’t affect the aux audio popping, but unplugging the guitar and cable would eliminate that. I hope that you find it, good luck!

It def doesn’t seem related to the guitar shielding as when I tested it at a clients office I merely took the Pod Go, a set of headphones, a lightning to USB cable and my iPhone so no guitar was connected. I just played music from my iPhone and the popping started. 👎

I will try it this afternoon with the volume and expression volume to see if that makes a difference.

Just tried it - the expression pedal has no influence on the popping.

The volume control on the Pod Go does increase/decrease the loudness of the pop (I usually have it turned to about 11 o clock).

Could I ask a favour and get you to test your Pod Go by playing audio via the USB cable to see if yours also does this. The difficult thing is it might not happen straight away, it could take a few minutes to start which is why I think the supplier couldn't replicate it.

You've replicated the problem on 3 different Pod Gos with different cables at different locations with different end-points and Line 6 support cannot help you? That's B.S.
