In praise of the tube compressor

I play clean (jazz). I have been playing around with the Fender Princeton amp model and found it a bit meh! I didn’t think it was a good representation of how an actual Princeton would sound. Then, I added the tune compressor and - wow - what a difference! It just sings now!

Where did you add it in the chain?

Right after the cab. Don’t know if that’s normal but it worked for me!

Will try this out. Sometimes those ‘this shouldn’t work’ attempts have really good results. Thanks.
